Chicago Marketing Agency Forms B2B Division

January 16, 2013

DOWNERS GROVE, IL. – In an effort to meet the unique and traditionally underserved marketing needs of the B2B sector, Chicago-based marketing agency Straight North has formed a B2B services division.

With a history and reputation for providing quality Internet marketing services, website development, and corporate branding for firms locally and nationally, Straight North is well equipped to take on this new role. The agency has extensive experience in the B2B space, utilizing both digital and traditional marketing strategies and services for companies in a wide range of industries.

Long-time marketing veteran and Straight North executive Brad Shorr is heading up the new division as Director of B2B Marketing. Shorr brings over 20 years of experience in the packaging industry; hands-on experience in marketing, sales, operations, and executive management; and blogging bylines with some of the world’s most influential marketing blogs, where he’s written on important topics ranging from marketing strategy to SEO.

“B2Bs tend to be sales-driven and relationship-driven,” says Shorr. “While this should probably never change, marketing has become extremely important, as buyers and purchasing influencers get more comfortable using the Internet to research products, services, and vendors. Firms that don’t have a strong Web presence could miss out on scores of opportunities every day.”

As part of its B2B Internet marketing plans, Straight North offers a comprehensive suite of services that include Web development and design, search engine optimization, copywriting, social media marketing, branding, e-mail marketing, and more.
